GIS-Compatible Data (ArcView®)
Available on Mondays

For the ultimately sophisticated client, we provide Geographic Information System (GIS)-compatible data sets for surface wetness, temperature and snow cover anomalies. These data sets are updated each Monday, using the most current satellite-derived information. This allows clients to integrate CHI's proprietary information with other relevant data sources that critically impact future agricultural commodity prices and supplies. The information is a major boon to any relational database, GIS program (e.g. ArcView® ), or sophisticated model which takes multiple sources of information and combines it into value-added insight. Typically these programs allow the user to adjust the importance of our data against other relevant technical and fundamental information. This is where the whole is truly greater than the sum of the individual parts.
